Aleksandra Jagielska – Why are blood treatments able to revitalize the skin?

Human blood contains red blood cells, leukocytes, and platelets. All these elements float in plasma, a solution rich in micro-and macroelements and growth factors necessary to nourish cells.

Platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, is obtained from our blood. After collecting blood and its special centrifugation, a platelet-rich preparation is obtained, in which platelets are present in several times greater concentrations than in the blood itself, which means that their regenerative effect in relation to our skin takes on a new meaning.

So far, over 30 growth factors have been shown in platelets, the most important being: transforming growth factor (TGF), fibroblast growth factor (FGF), platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), insulin-like growth factor (IGF) and epithelial growth factor (EGF). Thanks to this concentration of active ingredients, patients feel the effects of improving the appearance and condition of the skin in a short time.

PRP stimulates the production of new blood vessels and collagen fibers, improves skin hydration, firmness, and condition, and has anti-aging properties. In the case of skin that requires more intensive regeneration, CGF HARMONY is used. It consists in injecting stem cells and growth factors, also taken from the patient’s blood and suspended in APAG gel (Activated Plasma Albumin Gel). This ensures longer and more intense skin stimulation.

To obtain the best results, PRP treatments should be performed in a series of approx. 3 treatments once every 3 weeks. CGF 2-3 treatments every 5 weeks.
